Aug. 23 will mark the first meet for the girls golf team this year as they will take on Mehlville at Forest Park starting at around 3:45 p.m. The team has two seniors which are Casey Carpenter and Haley Dagaeto. Head Coach Katrina Clark said Carpenter and junior Paige San Felippo as players to watch this season.

“They have some varsity experience and are talented players.” Clark said.

The team has a lot of talent this year, but some players don’t have a whole lot of tournament experience. Despite that Clark is still confident in her team’s chances.

“The biggest keys for success are for each girl to reach her potential,” Clark said. “We are going to put in the work and hope that each member of the team improves throughout the season. If that happens, we should be very successful.”
