The Lady Lancers field hockey team had what many would consider an amazing season.

They had a winning record at 16-7-1, with their season ending in a loss in the Final Four of State. They also had two players in the top ten for scoring in senior Mary Reynolds (49 points), and junior Meghan Conroy (48 points).

Although they lost in the Final Four, Coach Melissa Lantz had a very positive attitude about the season.

“The girls fought hard every time they stepped on the field to the very end. Their effort can’t be faulted. They gave it their all, and as a coach, that’s all I can ask for. It was a disappointing end to an overall awesome season,” Lantz said.

This year’s squad will be graduating eight seniors. There are 13 total players returning to the roster, 9 juniors, and 4 sophomores.
