Lancers travel to Lindbergh for LHS showdown

Patrick Levine, Sports Reporter

The Lafayette Lancers travel to Lindbergh tonight to face off against the Flyers. Defeating the Oakville Tigers with a confident victory 76-57 in their last contest, the Lancers stroll on hoping to capture another victory tonight.

They appeared to bounce back efficiently from their two basket defeat against Hazelwood Central several days ago. Our team will enter the game 16-2, undefeated in the regular season, with their two losses coming in tournament games that were decided by less than five points each. Lindbergh enters the game with a 9-11 record.

The Lancers will be lea by their two leading scorers, seniors Cameron Scales and Zach Steinberg. The Flyers will be geared up as well, lead by junior Greg Lahm. Lahm is averaging 18.2 points per game this season.
