The Lady Lancers lacrosse squad had a successful season this year. The Lady Lancers finished the regular season with a 12-6 record. The Lancers finished fourth in their conference of 17 teams, behind Ladue, Kirkwood and Eureka. The Lancers were eliminated in the first game of the postseason in a 12-11 loss to Cor Jesu at Kirkwood.

The Lancers success this year was a product of their team’s cooperation.

Junior Maria Johnson said, “We’ve been successful because we’ve worked together as a team and we’ve executed our plays correctly,”

The Lancers were led by Johnson, who scored 81 of the Lancers 175 goals this season. She said her dominance this year was a result of her hard work and dedication.
The Lancers will face significant challenges next year, when they will lose 11 graduating seniors.
