Boys golf comes just shy of winning Districts behind De Smet
May 14, 2015
Boys golf has been doing very well this season, as they clawed their way through Districts and came out successful enough to move onto Sectionals.
Senior star Conrad Maloney said, “We’ve played first or second in all of our tournaments, now we’re hoping for success at Sectionals and then on to state.”
Out of ten teams, only several we’re actually competitive in Districts. They came in second behind De Smet just barely, as both teams played really well.
Maloney said, “Senior Dylan Eaton and junior Riley Katsev did really well, so did senior Jake Williams. When we play De Smet in Sectionals and State again we just have to keep our same strategy and stay focused.”

[Families] actually having the opportunity to have their kids on the field with us is the most important aspect,” Ben Lundt said.](https://lancerfeed.press/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/IMG_6823-1200x800.jpg)
