To kick off Conference play, boys basketball will face the Lindbergh Flyers Friday, Jan. 4.
With a shaky 3-6 record so far, the Lancers are hoping to step up their game and show their true potential. With junior Nate Messer and sophomore Garrett Steins, the team is looking to build off their strong offensive abilities to defeat Lindbergh in their first Conference competition.
Entering the game with a 2-6 record, the Flyers are struggling to find their weapons on offense. Senior Nick Brohammer is the leading scorer with 9.8 points per game, while senior Isobo Amoso is the leading rebounder with 31 rebounds on the year.
The Flyers have already lost to Marquette in Conference play which they hope will not serve as a disadvantage against the Lancers tonight. The game starts at 7 p.m. at Lindbergh.
