On Nov. 9-10, Lafayette’s boys swimming will send seniors Jeremy Bruder, Jon Glaser, Connor Parsons, junior Jacob Alspaw and freshman John Wilmsen to the State Competition as individuals. This year, State is being held at the Rec-Plex in St. Peters, MO.
“This has been a great season for us. It has been really fun to watch the team grow and consistently place well in each meet,” Glaser said.
Qualifying for the 200-meter free, 100-meter free, 200-meter medley, 500-meter free, 100-meter fly and team relays, Glaser has yet to be defeated this year and hopes to continue his winning streak at State.
“Ideally as a senior, I am looking to win State. I will have some really tough competition, especially from Marquette’s team,” Glaser said.
The last dual meet of the season against Marquette will be starting at 4:15 p.m. today at Marquette.
