Before a Senior Night crowd, the Lancers easily dropped Conference opponent Lindbergh. With a slow start in the first half, the Lancers led just 19-9 as senior Michael Messer would have just five points before the break.
However, the remainder of the game was backed by a newfound intensity as Lafayette defeated Lindbergh 51-38. Messer led all scorers with 18 as the Lancers improved their record to 14-10 overall.
The team will be in action again on Feb. 16 at Parkway South.
