With private schools dominating the high school golf world, the Lancers once again threaten to do big things on the course.
The team remains unbeaten after winning the Conference tournament on Sept. 27. They are led by senior Kelly Lamarche, juniors Clair Norfleet and Maddie Van House and sophomore Ashton Goldammer. Even with the early success, the Lady Lancers stay lofty. The team has their goals set high as they head into Districts.
“We haven’t lost a match this year and we recently won Conference and we are headed to Districts today and we are hoping to come out near the top,” Van House said.
As one of the stronger public school programs, the team would also like to make an impact at the highest level.
“Coach (Gaylen Laster) and the team would like us to go to State as a team,” Van House said.
With all the success lately, who can doubt that they won’t see even more in postseason play?

[Families] actually having the opportunity to have their kids on the field with us is the most important aspect,” Ben Lundt said.](https://lancerfeed.press/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/IMG_6823-1200x800.jpg)
