The Lancer Feed offers new guest column feature
August 28, 2018

Student opinions and idea are important to the Lafayette community, and The Lancer Feed hopes the new guest columns provide a new outlet for Lafayette’s student body.
This year, we are introducing a guest column to the Lancer Feed website. As a publication, we want the student body to feel as though they have a voice. A creative outlet such as the guest column will allow students to express themselves in a different way and make sure opinions are heard.
Each column will provide a different insight, the word count can range from 150 to 1000 words. Columns can cover a wide variety of opinions; the column can be praising something, advocating for change, disagreeing with something or even just an experience that changed a perspective. It does not have to be a controversial topic, but it has to be school appropriate. All are welcome to write a column and the link below is where the final submission can be sent.
We hope this opportunity allows more opinions and perspectives that are present at our school be heard.
Email Grace Kirtley ([email protected]) or Chloe Baker ([email protected]) for any questions or comments regarding a guest column.
