Social Studies teacher Steve Klawiter will have his AP World History class take the digital exam this May. He said he looks forward to seeing how his students will perform on the exam. “Its been very clear theyre moving towards digital. Since the pandemic started, theyve been putting the pieces in place to go digital, Klawiter said. “I think that ultimately it’s going to be more beneficial because with systems like Canvas and Google Classroom, students are used to more digital activities and less handwriting activities.”
Nine AP exams will transition to digital format in 2025, additional six in 2026

Top 5 Pixar movies of all time

Top 5 Pixar movies of all time

With six Oscar’s for Best Animated Feature, and a total of 23 Academy Awards, I see Pixar as the gods of animated cinema. You could debate for hours on which of the 12 Pixar movies are the best. I have taken it upon myself to make a list of my five favorite Pixar films of all time.

Now, this is just my opinion, this does not reflect the opinion of the lhsimage.com or any of its affiliates. I understand that people are very passionate about their favorite Pixar movies, and that things can sometimes get violent.

I think it is important that since we are talking about the best Pixar movies, we should talk about the worst Pixar movies. You may be thinking, “A bad Pixar movie! How can that even exist?” Well let me explain.

Ever since Toy Story came out in 1995, Pixar has been seen as the “best of the best,” and rightfully so. So when a movie comes out and it obtains the label of Pixar, it is expected to be amazing. When Cars came out in 2006, it was disappointing. Don’t get me wrong, it was a good movie, but it was not a good Pixar movie. Had Cars been produced by any other company, the criticism would not have been as harsh.

It’s like Van Gogh painting a cow. It is a very good picture of a cow, it is very realistic, but where is the creativity? Now imagine a two year old painted the cow. You see the cow painting as an amazing piece of art. Pixar is Van Gogh, and any other animated movie company is the toddler.

Now don’t even get me started on Cars 2. I must admit, I did not bother seeing Cars 2. I did not want to waste my parent’s money on a movie I was not excited to see, at all.

I don’t know what was going through the Pixar executives heads when they thought of the idea of creating a sequel to the mediocre film Cars. My guess is it went something like this, “Hey remember that movie we made about cars that we called Cars? It didn’t make as much money as all of our other films and it wasn’t as good, but let’s make a sequel!”

So now that I have ranted about the worst Pixar movies, it is time to list the best.
