Social Studies teacher Steve Klawiter will have his AP World History class take the digital exam this May. He said he looks forward to seeing how his students will perform on the exam. “Its been very clear theyre moving towards digital. Since the pandemic started, theyve been putting the pieces in place to go digital, Klawiter said. “I think that ultimately it’s going to be more beneficial because with systems like Canvas and Google Classroom, students are used to more digital activities and less handwriting activities.”

St. Louie Style: Airport runway

St. Louie Style: Airport runway

With Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up, more people will be traveling around the country to spend time with extended family or go on family vacations to get a much needed break from school. And just because being comfortable on an airplane is what everyone wants, it doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice style for sleep.

First, ditch the “I just rolled out of bed to catch my 6 a.m. flight” look.  Hair tied on top of your head isn’t very presentable and baggy clothes and Uggs just don’t make the cut. Hauling around an oversized suitcase and numerous bags makes you look crazed, not cute.

So even if you do have a 6 a.m. flight to catch, you can still manage to look sophisticated without taking hours to get ready.

Hair: Don’t just throw your hair into a messy bun and think you’re ready to hit the road. If you opt for the bun, take some time to make it look messy but not too sloppy. Don’t do anything too dressy to you hair—keeping it natural is likely the best way to go.

Clothes: Don’t wear anything you wouldn’t wear to school, and don’t forget to dress for the right weather. If you’re visiting family in Florida, don’t wear Uggs and sweats. Jeans and a plain white t shirt with a long necklace looks casual enough, but it’s not too casual that it looks unplanned.

Shoes: Just wear something that’s easy to take off during security. No heels or strappy sandals. Sperry’s look casual and are easy to slip on and off, not to mention they go with any outfit.

Luggage: Keep it simple. You only need one suitcase—you’re going on vacation over break, not a month long trip to Milan where you need every piece of clothing you own. Choose a carry-on bag that easily organizes everything you need so you’re not digging around in it for 10 minutes just to find a pack of gum.

In conclusion, you can still be comfortable at the airport without wearing clothes you would never want any of your friends to see. Don’t you want to look good when you arrive at your destination?
