At the 2023 Prom, Class of 2023 graduates Joe Marlo and Will Barry stay at the edge of the main floor to do their dancing. Because the small dance floor was the most crowded area, many students gathered around the edges with friends or in small groups.

Ke$ha takes St. Louis by storm

To sum it up in one word: insanity.

Ke$ha’s performance at The Pageant in the  Delmar Loop on Feb. 22, left fans screaming in awe and disbelief at her energetic and lively performance.

Though the opening act was definitely not a crowd favorite, Beardo, The Weirdo, The Trailer Park Hero used his techno beats and outlandish lyrics to rev up the crowd for the performance to come.

Opening with ‘Sleazy,’ a song from her newest album Canibal, Ke$ha was surrounded by an intricate diamond light display. However, the show continued to reveal surprised that no one was expecting.

Ke$ha truly lived up to her glittery reputation during her song, Blow. With three glitter guns, two glitter cannons, and even two glitter grenades, the mosh pit was covered.

Her outfits ranged from a silver glittery leotard, an American flag smock and a neon outfit, complete with a mohawk helmet.

Her background dancers added to the craziness, as the men dressed up as girls during Backstabber, followed by old men with walkers wearing dinosaur masks during Dinosaur.

The show came to a close with a roaring encore of the song We R Who We R, as well as a unique rendition of the Beastie Boys’ (You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party). A dinosaur pinata was multilated, and a man dressed as Santa led the performance.

Words simply cannot sum up this incredible performance. In true Ke$ha fashion, fans were in awe of each song and the performance and special effects that came with it.

I give this concert five stars!
