Last Sunday, Student Council kicked off Lafayette’s annual canned food drive with ‘Trick or Treat for Cans’. So far they collected 3,100 cans, reaching 10 percent of  LHS’s goal of 30,000 cans this year.

Students are encouraged to keep bringing in cans to their 1st hour teacher until late November. 350 cans per classroom will reach the school’s goal, and the class that collects the most cans will win a pizza party.

All cans are donated to Circle of Concern.
