Operation Preparation: freshmen work to get ready for finals
December 2, 2016
Operation Preparation is a cram study session for the freshmen class to help them prepare for finals. This program is run by Link Crew and will be held Wednesday, Dec. 7 after school. The sign up is in the freshman office or a Link Crew leader can be contacted as well. Pizza will be provided for all who participate.
Science teacher, Scott Holtmann, who co-runs Link Crew with language arts teacher Meghan Finley, has high praise for the program:
“I think it sets freshmen on the right path to start studying early. It gets them going in the right direction,” Holtmann said.
Last year was the first year that this program was run, but then it was called ‘Cocoa and Cram’. The name was changed to give the session a different feel to it so people would take it more seriously.
“This day is designed to help freshmen for finals and give them an opportunity to rotate through different subject areas, get help, and work with each other,” Holtmann said.
