Missouri All-State and All-Suburban Musicians announced

Twenty-three Lafayette musicians have been named All-Suburban both orchestra and band departments.
Preston Boyd, Emily Budde, Jacob Hinton, Elizabeth Ho, Anna Karner, Kevin Qi, Nina Ruan, Edward Vakula, Pranav Vasishta and Kyle Yerby were all named to the St. Louis All-Suburban Orchestra with Michael Christian and Karena Wong as alternates.
Students named to the St. Louis All-Suburban Band include: Sai Allu, Rachel Blankenship, Emily Dobson, Geoff Ladue, Drew Leslie, Jenna Killips, Ryan McCarthy, Liam Newman, Mel Northem, Emily Schaper and David Zhang. These students will travel to Columbia, Missouri on December 3rd to audition for the All-State Band.
Senior, Daniel Young has made the Missouri All-State Choir and will sing with other Missouri choir students at the Missouri Music Educators Conference that will take place in January.
