Board of Education finalizes candidates

On Tuesday, Jan. 20, filing for the Board of Education candidates closed at 5 p.m.
The candidates for the one-year interim term are Herman L. Kriegshauser and Lawrence Allen Lazar.
However, the District will not be holding elections for the three-year terms, as the number of candidates filing equals the number of open positions. Therefore, Robert Castle and Jaime Lynn Bayes will be sworn into office. This will take place on Thursday, April 9 at the School Board’s reorganization meeting.
