Mass to be held on Thursday for Avery Cantor
May 7, 2014
On Thursday, May 8, a mass will be held at St. Albans Church at 11 a.m. for junior Avery Cantor, who passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 5.
Family and friends are welcome to attend the mass. Students who will be leaving school to attend the service should follow standard procedure. A note or call from a parent will excuse the absence.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Animal Protective Agency (APA) or Special Needs Soccer Association (SPENSA).
Students who have an Advanced Placement (AP) Exam on Thursday are able to reschedule the exam if they choose to attend the mass, and should visit Testing Coordinator Jessica Brawner for more information.
Principal John Shaughnessy said that there are plans for a separate memorial service, but that no plans are in place.
More information will be published on lhsimage.com when available.
