The process of making student schedules for next year has many steps. As the school year comes to an end, some steps have already been taken. Students entered their desired courses, as well as alternates, into Infinite Campus, and the school counselors met with students to discuss these choices.

Students will still be able to change their schedules until the release of the schedules in August. After that, students will need to complete the necessary paperwork.

Guidance Department Chair Nicole Buesse said, “Students can change their schedules between now and student orientation in August. Students can reach out to their counselor via email or by making an appointment to discuss schedule changes. Once schedules are released in August, students will need to complete the schedule change paperwork.”

In order to change their schedule once they are published, students will be able to scan a QR code and fill out the linked form. The QR code will be found in the Counseling Office or on posters throughout the school.

The schedules released in August will include both first and second semester, however the second semester schedules will not be set until before Thanksgiving break.

As for virtual classes, Rockwood will offer online next school year. These classes will be completely asynchronous from in-person learning.

Students must have signed up for these classes prior to summer break to be eligible to take online coursework for the 2021-2022 school year,” Buesse said.
