Teacher of the Year finalists announced

Finalists for this year’s Teacher of the Year have been announced.
Lisa Donovan, language arts teacher; Jeff Marx, science teacher; Monique Merritt, foreign language teacher; Denise Meyer, physical education teacher; and Melissa Schumacher, language arts teacher, are all finalists.
The winner will be announced on Feb. 9, following student presentations for each teacher nomination.
The winner will also be formally announced at the Academic Pep Assembly in March and will be awarded a parking spot.
