Nothing sounds better for breakfast than freshly-made pancakes, and on February 5, the International House of Pancakes – IHOP – is offering a complimentary short stack of buttermilk pancakes to celebrate both National Pancake Day and the 30th anniversary of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Over 1,500 IHOP restaurants across the United States will be taking part, serving up customers free pancakes from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
In addition to the pancakes, customers will be encouraged to make a donation for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals or other local charities. All proceeds will help to provide for sick and injured children.
Since 2006, the iconic restaurant chain has raised over 10 million dollars to support charities. IHOP’s goal this year is to raise 3 million dollars for charity.
