On Thursday, Nov. 8 from 5 p.m.-8 p.m., the McDonald’s located at the corner of Clarkson Rd. and Manchester Rd. will be hosting yet another “McTeacher’s Night.”
McTeacher’s Night is exactly what it sounds like, a night where students’ favorite teachers go to McDonald’s and serve the parents, students and anyother community members that show up.
Although this might be fun for the students to watch, the teachers are not doing it for any old reason, they are doing it as a fundraiser for Renaissance. With the money Renaissance raises throughout the year, they are able to provide students with waterbottles, t-shirts, and other gifts to reward the students for their academic excellence throughout.
Renaissance Coordinator Mathew Landwehr said, “We did [McTeacher’s Night] last year twice, and its been done in the past before, and it was really succesful. It raised a good amount of money for our school.”
Out of all the money that McDonalds recievs that night, 15% gets donated to Renaissance.
“Working it was alot of fun, it’s good to see the students come up, parents and community memebers support our school,” Ladwehr said.

[Families] actually having the opportunity to have their kids on the field with us is the most important aspect,” Ben Lundt said.](https://lancerfeed.press/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/IMG_6823-1200x800.jpg)
