The annual Cheer for Charity event will be taking place on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 3 p.m.
The Lafayette cheerleaders will be performing alongside other squads from other schools, as well as local dance teams. Each group will be performing one routine.
While Cheer for Charity benefited Toys for Tots in the past, this year the proceeds will go to the Ronald McDonald House Charities, accoring to Crystal Gray, lanugage arts teacher and cheerleading coach.
Gray expects a the event to be a sucess.
“With Toys for Tots, we have been able to donate thousands of toys and hundreds of dollars,” she said.
This will be the fourth Cheer for Charity hosted by the Lafayette cheerleaders.
