Due to the incoming snow storm, dubbed “Snowmageddon” by local media, several events this week will be changed.
If school is not held on Tuesday Feb. 1, Mr. LHS will not take place that evening.
“There is no date we have in mind quite yet,” Assistant Principal Matt Dieckhaus said.
“Mr. LHS will most likely take place in the window between the end of winter sports and the start of spring sports.”
Dieckhaus continued, “On another note, the fire drill that was scheduled for Jan. 31 during 7th Hour has been rescheduled.”
One event that will not be moved is the 2011-2012 school year scheduling.
“Please register for you classes,” Associate Principal Renee Trotier said. ” The portal will still close at 4 p.m. on Tuesday.”
Assistant Principal Kirti Mehrotra agreed, “It is absolutely essential the students are aware that registering will end tomorrow regardless of snow days.”
Students are encouraged to finish their schedules tonight or today during school.
When students return to school after , those in the flex classes must check in with flex resource teacher Janey Whiteaker.
“Since flex teachers schedule differently from eachother, it will be hard to judge exactly what to do when we get back. [Students] Check in with me in the morning [when we get back] to find out,” Whiteaker said.

[Families] actually having the opportunity to have their kids on the field with us is the most important aspect,” Ben Lundt said.](https://lancerfeed.press/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/IMG_6823-1200x800.jpg)
