Awarded “Best Music Festival of 2010″ in St. Louis by Riverfront Times, LouFest is back for another year.
“We are excited to have year two now under way,” festival organizer Brian Cohen said. “In our first year I think we exceeded expectations. We’re hoping to do the same with our sophomore effort by bringing in bigger national headliners and booking artists from a wider range of genres,” he added.
“We’re also adding more restaurants, more retail, a bigger kids village and throwing in a few other surprises we’ll announce as the Festival gets closer. And this year, we’re offering a limited number of pre sale tickets at a deep discount,” Cohen said.
The second annual LouFest is to take place Aug. 27 and 28, in Forest Park. Pre-sale tickets are already available for $49 for two day passes, which is $15 less than the regular two day passes.
The band lineup has not been announced, but the new website for LouFest is up at loufest.com. Updates will also be posted on lhsimage.com.
