For many students, high school dances are the only opportunity to get down on the dance floor. The St. Louis area doesn’t have many clubs that allow minors inside, but the Casa Loma Ballroom is one of the exceptions.

Located on the corner of Cherokee Street and Iowa Avenue, Casa Loma offers a safe club atmosphere and various of events for all ages on the 5,000 square foot dance floor. The ballroom is open Thursdays through Saturdays and each night has a different theme of dance such as Swing, Jazz and Rock ‘n Roll.

The 85 year old venue is a landmark of entertainment for the St. Louis. Past stars, like Benny Goodman & Frank Sintatra, have performed here, making it an honor for many upcoming local St. Louis artist to perform on the stage as well.

In addition to a night on the town, the ballroom also provides a bar style menu and dance lessons for beginners. On select Fridays, dance instructors from the area teach different styles of dance including Waltz, Fox Trott, Tango and Latin, Swing lessons are scheduled for every Saturday 7:45-8:30 p.m.
