Through These Halls: @LHSproblems admins reveal themselves

Through+These+Halls%3A+%40LHSproblems+admins+reveal+themselves

The twitter account @LHSproblems is known throughout the halls of Lafayette. @LHSproblems tweets and re-tweets humorous comments regarding Lafayette High School.

Over the last two years, the owners of the account remained anonymous. That is, until the owners decided to reveal who they were to the student body.

Seniors Haley Harrison and Kelly Shaw revealed that they were the students behind the Twitter account by tweeting a picture of themselves.

“Since we are both graduating we decided we wanted to go out with a bang. It’s been a two year long project, so we decided we should get some credit,” Shaw said.

Harrison and Shaw have been receiving different reactions from friends, other students and even teachers.

“It’s pretty cool hearing people say, ‘Oh, now I know that it’s you,’ after they had been talking about it with me for the past year,” Shaw said.

In addition to revealing themselves, Harrison and Shaw also announced @LHSproblems is going to be passed down to sophomores who remain unknown.

“We found people that we knew would be trustworthy and won’t turn it into a gossip account or do anything inappropriate,” Harrison said.

Even though Harrison and Shaw will leave Lafayette and move on to college life, @LHSproblems is going to continue to live on through its unique and witty tweets.
