Social Studies teacher Steve Klawiter will have his AP World History class take the digital exam this May. He said he looks forward to seeing how his students will perform on the exam. “Its been very clear theyre moving towards digital. Since the pandemic started, theyve been putting the pieces in place to go digital, Klawiter said. “I think that ultimately it’s going to be more beneficial because with systems like Canvas and Google Classroom, students are used to more digital activities and less handwriting activities.”
Nine AP exams will transition to digital format in 2025, additional six in 2026

Out and About: Espino’s Mexican Bar and Grill

Out+and+About%3A+Espinos+Mexican+Bar+and+Grill

What’s better then walking into a restaurant and instantly feeling welcomed?  At Espino’s, not only is the decor above par but the food and service is too.  Known as a “fresh alternative” to Mexican food, Espino’s, has something on the menu that anyone and everyone can enjoy.

Located in the Chesterfield Valley, Espino’s offers a variety of creative and homemade food all prepared by Master Chef Artemio Espino, who has over 20 years of experience.

Personally, like to eat simple Mexican food, consisting of cheese quesadillas and nachos.  I thought that Espino’s prepared the food in an appealing way that made me reconsider what I ordered.  Their fresh take on food is amazing. I would recommend the “Alitas de Pollo,” a popular appetizer.  Don’t let the name scare you away, this dish consists of jumbo chicken drummies smothered in a cilantro ginger glaze sauce.

Espino’s has gained national recognition for its exceptional quality as well.  Espino’s was recently the subject of chef Guy Fieri’s hit TV show “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” on the Food Network.  Fieri and his crew traveled to St. Louis to record an episode consisting that featured Espino’s and two other locally owned restaurants.

The ambiance at Espino’s makes it a great place to stop by in the summer, and its outdoor seating, fast service and moderately priced menu can’t be beat.  For a full menu and catering options visit their website http://espinosmexicanbargrill.com/
