Hot Links: 5 websites to help you find the perfect prom dress
April 3, 2013
Prom dress shopping can be a stressful event when you’re forced to run from store to store in order to find that perfect dress. However, you can shop for prom dresses from the comfort of your own home through a variety of websites. Here are five hot links to help you buy a prom dress.
Prom Look has a huge selection of dresses for a variety of occasions including Prom, Homecoming, Quinceaneras and weddings. The website is extremely organized, allowing shoppers to browse dresses by occasion, color, style and price. Although the majority of dresses fall between $100 and $200, dress prices range anywhere from $40 to $400, pleasing almost any shopper. Prom Look also offers a large selection of clutches.
Prom Girl has just as many, if not more, dress options as Prom Look. The dresses available at Prom Girl are more expensive, with dresses costing up to $700. However, the website still offers reasonable options and has a page for dresses under $100. In addition to dresses, Prom Girl sells shoes and clutches.

David’s Bridal not only offers prom dresses, but has a variety of tuxedo options for men available for rent or purchase. In comparison to the other two websites, David’s Bridal does not have as large of a selection, but has locations in the St. Louis area allowing shoppers to actually come in and physically try dresses on. Jovani is a designer brand, and of course costs designer prices. If you can afford it, the dresses are stunning and very well made. However, I personally would just use the website for inspiration. You can look at popular styles and find what kind of dresses you prefer, and then find a more affordable version of a similar dress elsewhere.
