Originating in Indian cultures of Central and South America, friendship bracelets have been worn symbolically as a wish.
Once the bracelet falls off, the wish is supposed to come true for the wearer.
Today, friendship bracelets can be a unique and individualized jewelry alternative great for gifts or even a hobby.
Shown here are the most basic friendship bracelet pattern.
Materials Needed:
24 inches of at least 5 strands of embroidery floss
Scissors
Tape or a clipboard

The wider you want your bracelet to be, increase the number of different strings
I you want to increase the overall thickness and size, group more of the same colored strings together
