Dramatic Lincense Produtions (DLP), a non-profit theater organization, is now located in the Chesterfield Mall.
This is part of the mall’s new dedication to some of its space as art areas. DLP is one of the four art locations, the other three being art galleries.
For the next two months, the theater has two shows; a one night holliday cabaret on Nov. 13 and throughout December, their main show of the season will be playing.
This year, the holiday show is This Wonderful Life, a tribute to a Frank Capra film. It will be playing at 8 p.m. on Dec 2-4, 9-11 and 16-18 as well as at 2 p.m. on Dec 5, 12 and 19. There are over 25 roles in the show.
The theater consists of 85 seats and a lobby containing a box office and the St. Louis Theater Wall, which is a art peice depicting the area’s theater companies.
The 2011 season will include shows such as Driving Miss Daisy, Mass Appeal and Dirty Blonde.
