During the April 10 boys lacrosse game against Marquette, senior Jack Politte sprints past a Mustang defender. The Lancers fell to the Mustangs 9-8.

Boys Lacrosse

The boys lacrosse team’s season ended on May 7 with a loss to MICDS. They went 4-3 in league play and 6-10 overall, seeding them 12th for Division I playoffs. Due to having 13 injured players, Head Coach Ren Pettinelli declined both Division I and II playoff spots.

“I feel like we got off to a fiery start and went on a good run up until Spring Break. We declined from there and lost many players, but the remaining ones did not give up and kept fighting for each win, each goal, each save,” junior attackman Owen Hueckel said.
