Lafayette High School’s Air Force Junior ROTC (AFJROTC) unit was awarded “exceeds all” in a recent inspection of their standards Feb. 28 2017.

“There’s no way I can  summarize all the standards we adhere too,” said James Smith, ROTC director.

The Missouri 81st JROTC upholds certain traditions attributed to the uniform they wear. The ROTC also has a unit of 110 cadets within its ranks. Each student followed the demographic, grooming and uniform standards.

“This sets a baseline for us a viable organization and allows room for growth within certain standards,” said Smith. “So with polished shoes and well-kept hair the ROTC may move forward in their endeavors.”
