Shocked by the crowd’s reaction to his performance, Scott Beaver, business teacher, lives out a childhood dream by rapping Lose Yourself in front of a large audience. “Honestly, it’s something I’ve dreamed about doing since I was younger, ever since the song came out; it means a lot to me. I was so excited that the audience got into it. When I was up there, the lights were so blinding that I couldn’t really tell how into it they got until I watched a video. Everyone said the audience was singing the words, but I was so concentrated about not messing up that I couldn’t really enjoy it,” Beaver said.
