Blood Drive hopes to collect 100 pints

On Jan.  27, Student Council (STUCO) will host the annual blood drive with the Red Cross.

Any student over the age of 16 is encouraged to donate blood; however, students under the age of 18 require parental consent.

Registration took place Jan. 19-20 during all lunch shifts and all donation slots filled up.

On the day of the drive, those students who volunteered should report to the Back Gym at their given time and should be sure to eat a balanced meal prior to getting their blood drawn.

Student Council Executive member Kendall Geodeke encourages as many students to participate as possible because “everyone that gives blood saves as many as three lives, so it’s an easy way to give back to those who need it.”
