Car show at Lafayette to fund Renaissance
April 12, 2016
The Renaissance Car show will be held on Saturday, May 7. It is run by the Renaissance Steering Committee.
The car show is meant to raise funds for Renaissance.
“Myself and my friend, Jack, really love cars, and we thought it would be a good way to raise money for our program and to do something that we both really enjoy.” Vlad Barbulica, senior, said.
This is the second year Renaissance has held the Car Show. At the show, there will be four awards for entrants to compete for, with spectators voting on their picks. The categories are: People’s Choice, Most Unique, Best Classic, and Best Modern.
There will be music, food trucks and beverages provided.
The car show will be 11 a.m.- 2 p.m., held in Lafayette’s parking lot. There is a $15 entry fee per contestant, but spectators can come for free.
