The Lafayette boys tennis team has ended their season at team districts, with two losses against rival Marquette. The team finished with a final record of 12-11.

The season is not finished however. There are several players still ready to compete at individual districts. In particular the pairs team of juniors Carson Krone and Franco Noseda who are the number one pairs team for the Lancers.

“It was awkward at first but as the year has gone by we have learned to communicate better,” said Franco.

“No one really scares us, but  Marquette is probably our toughest competitor,” Franco added.

The first round of districts is May 5 and May 6.
