Tuesday Sept. 20th is the Rockwood School District College Fair. This year marks the first time the fair will be held in the Greensfelder Recreation Complex in Queeny Park. With over 100 colleges in attendance, juniors and seniors are encouraged to take advantage of this event to seek out their needs for college, and possibly find the college that is right for them.
Plenty of college representatives and administrators will be in attendance at the event to help any students with finding a college that is right for them. At the fair, colleges from all over the country will provide information on what they provide as a university and what they can give to the upcoming students for their future. Picking up a flyer at the fair will not only give an outlook on certain colleges, it also lets the college know who a certain student is, possibly providing scholarships, waived application fees, etc.
Students who are now starting the application or college seeking progress are highly encouraged to attend the event.
Those who would like to attend the fair need to register online at this link. The event runs from 6-8 p.m.
