Lancers annihilate Patriots with a shutout victory

Tanner Grimm scores four more touchdowns on the way to another Lancers victory

Once again the Lancers are led by Tanner Grimm (14 rushes for 96 yards and 4 touchdowns) to a fourth straight win of the season over the Parkway South Patriots.

The Lancers started strong scoring 21 points in the first quarter off of two Tanner Grimm rushing touchdowns and a Collin Paul receiving touchdown. The Lancers didn’t slow down in the second quarter though scoring 20 more off of two more Tanner Grimm rushing touchdowns and a Brendan Scales receiving touchdown with a blocked extra-point making the halftime score 41-0.

The third quarter was relatively quiet as neither team could punch one in for a score. In the final quarter the Lancers scored once more with a run by Mitch Bingaman making the final score 48-0 marking this the highest scoring game yet for the Lancers. The Lancers have looked strong ever since they started handing the ball off to Tanner Grimm who has 14 touchdowns in his last four games

The Lancers next game will be at home against the 5-2 SLUH Junior Billikens.
