Forest Park to hold annual Loufest
This year, Forest Park will host the annual Loufest music festival.
The event kicks off at noon on Saturday and goes through 10 pm Sunday night. Two stages house a different band for 45 minutes, with a third stage staggering immediately after for another 45 minutes.
Headlining bands featured at this year’s Loufest are The Killers, Wilco, The National, Alabama Shakes and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes. Overall, the three stages will accommodate 30 bands over the course of the two-day event.
Admission for one day at the festival is $55 and for both days of the festival tickets are priced at $95 for general admission and $250 for the VIP all-inclusive admission.
VIP admission includes the following:

•Complimentary beer, wine & specialty libations all day
•Complimentary catered food servings daily
•Reserved air conditioned restrooms
•Shaded & relaxed lounge seating.
Besides the abundance of performances, several other booths will be set up throughout the park to provide entertainment in various forms. Local restaurants provide a few menu items on sale in their own booths, small boutiques provide for an array of shopping opportunities and several large companies including Verizon and Slacker Radio will display their products and services for the public to experience.
