Don’t you hate going to a game where everybody seems to know the cheers but you? Lancer volleyball understands your frustration, which is why they will be holding “cheer” practice for students who want to be active fans in the stands.
On Monday, Sept. 17 around 5:15 p.m., go to the gym and learn the cheers and chants Lancer volleyball performs after kills, tip kills, blocks, during the play and before and during timeouts. If you don’t know what these actions are, they will be explained to you upon arrival.
All three levels of Volleyball will be there to demonstrate and help students learn the cheers.
Bring your friends and tell them to bring their friends because Lancer volleyball wants to fill the stands at home on Tuesday with a roaring crowd when they take on the Eureka Wildcats the next day(Tuesday, Septt. 18) at 5:15 p.m.
Anyone is welcome to attend “cheer” practice, even if you can’t make Tuesday’s match. There are more big games coming up that need huge fan support including the big rivalry match versus the Mustangs at Marquette Thursday, Oct. 4.
