Winter weather blankets Lafayette

The buzz at school on Friday, Feb. 5, was all about whether or not the students would get to go home after fourth hour.  The Weather Channel predicted a large sum of snow to blanket the ground, however, once again, all hope was lost.  According to the Weather Channel’s weekend outlook, the slushy snowfall is soon to end and a cold high in the low 30s will dominate the weekend.

The original graduation date for the Class of 2024 was set to be May 29 at the Chaifetz Arena. However, on Aug. 3, the BOE voted to change Graduation to May 11. When Rockwood posted about the change on Facebook, many parents took to the comments to voice their concerns and support.
