After a short delay due to issues with obtaining rights to perform a show, Spring Musical auditions have been scheduled for later this month.
Originally, the Fine Arts Department announced that Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, would be performed, but as with every production, rights have to be obtained in order to perform a show. LHS was not able to meet some the rules and regulations to gain rights for Joseph.
Instead, they gained rights on another modern musical. The new musical will be Little Shop of Horrors.
Director Natasha Toro said, “It is fun and well-known. We also think it is going to be really exciting for the kids to perform.”
Auditions are set for Dec. 14-15 with callbacks on Dec. 16.
Pit Orchestra Auditions will be on Dec. 15 as well.
