Lancer Regiment takes first in GSL Marching Band competition

At the Greater St. Louis Marching Band competition on Oct 23, the Lancer Regiment concluded its 2010 season. They performed their show “Nemisis” in the last time slot of the Red Division. The competition at the Edward Jones Dome lasted all day and the awards were announced at the end of the night.

The Lancer Regiment received first in the Red Division with a score of 82.35 and received a caption award in Outstanding Visual Performance.

The other Rockwood schools competed as well. Marquette received 8th in the Blue Division with a score of 62.90. Rockwood Summit placed first with a score of 80.05 in the Silver Division and also received a caption award in Outstanding Visual Performance.

The Lancer Regiment has placed first in its division for the last five consecutive years.

Total of five courses to be offered during summer, two in-person
The original graduation date for the Class of 2024 was set to be May 29 at the Chaifetz Arena. However, on Aug. 3, the BOE voted to change Graduation to May 11. When Rockwood posted about the change on Facebook, many parents took to the comments to voice their concerns and support.

Before a lacrosse game, seniors Sierra Sachtleben and Olivia Williams wear their floaties. In water wars, floaties and goggles can be worn as protection. When a senior is wearing one of those items properly, they can't get out.
