Lancer Regiment takes first in division at St. Charles West

On Sept. 18, the Lancer Regiment traveled to St. Charles West High to compete in a 12-band competition. The Lancer Regiment competed in the Silver division against four other marching bands.

The Lancer Regiment took first place as well as outstanding visual and outstanding music in their division.

Overall, they placed second out of the 12 bands. Finals were to take place that evening and the bands would be judged again. 

However, finals were delayed, and then cancelled due to inclement weather.

On Sept. 25, Lancer Regiment will host the Contest of Champions.

Total of five courses to be offered during summer, two in-person
The original graduation date for the Class of 2024 was set to be May 29 at the Chaifetz Arena. However, on Aug. 3, the BOE voted to change Graduation to May 11. When Rockwood posted about the change on Facebook, many parents took to the comments to voice their concerns and support.

Before a lacrosse game, seniors Sierra Sachtleben and Olivia Williams wear their floaties. In water wars, floaties and goggles can be worn as protection. When a senior is wearing one of those items properly, they can't get out.
