The Lady Lancer softball team had a rough start to the season going 1-3, but has turned that around as of late going 3-1 in their most recent four games.

“So far we feel we can compete with anyone,” Head Coach Scott DeNoyer said. “A few of the games we lost could have had a different outcome if we made a play or two here or there. As long as we improve every day, I am confident we will compete very well in Districts.”

Lauren Kulick and Megan Walker are leading the team in runs batted in with nine each and starting pitcher Sarah Dobson has a record of 1-3 with 24 strikeouts so far.

The team’s next game will be against Francis Howell Aug. 31 at Francis Howell at 4:15 p.m.
