October 1, 2014
On September 20th, on the day the boys cross country team would normally have their meet, they had the day off to rest and regroup. This was due to their success in the most recent races.
This past weekend the boys traveled to the Rim Rock Classic in Kansas City and placed first overall. Junior Dylan Quisenberry came in sixth place with a time of 15:58.20, trailed by Alec Haines in seventh with a time of 16:08.00, then with Devin Meyrer following close behind in 18th with 16:24.80.
Co-Captain, and Lafayette’s number one runner, Dylan Quisenberry, compared his feelings about how he thought the team would do to how they did. Quisenberry said, “We were just going to try and place and be happy with that, but winning was awesome and makes us feel even more confident for the state win,”
