Peyton Manning and Drew Brees are two of the best quarterbacks in football and both teams have several players that can score on any play. I like the Saints to win because I think their offense has too many weapons for the Colts to defend. They also have an extremely aggressive defense that can force Manning to turn the ball over. It’ll be a close game throughout, but I think the Saints are better overall and have a variety of ways to beat the Colts.

I am going to have to go with the Colts. Peyton Manning is just way too experienced and they are too good for an inexperienced Saints team. Saints are good when they are at home in the dome, but now in Miami they will have to rely on moment and experience. Twenty five Colts players are still on the team that won the Super Bowl three years ago in Miami, and that will come in to play if the game comes down to the fourth quarter.

For my Super Bowl pick, I’m going to go with the Colts. There will be no doubt, that the Saints will have some serious drive, since this is their first appearance, but in the big game experience matters. With a calm and collected quarterback like Peyton Manning, the Colts have a leader that knows how to take care of business.

With their tenacious defense and extensive running and passing game, the New Orleans Saints are sure to come out as Super Bowl 44 Champions. In their overtime victory against Minnesota, the Saints showed exactly how good of an all around team they are. Sure the Colts got a top quarterback under Peyton Manning, but do they have anything other than offense, NO. This is the Saints first Super Bowl in franchise history and they aren’t going to let this chance go by without a win. The Colts have no chance, they have no running game, and they aren’t going to have any championship rings.

Though looking at stats makes the choice hard, overall the Colts have a better chance to win Super Bowl XLIV. They’re coming in from the stronger AFC Conference and after watching their last two games, the Colts could easily take an early lead. While the Saints may be stronger defensively, they won’t be able to recover if the Colts get ahead early. And then there’s Peyton Manning. Drew Brees is good, don’t get me wrong, but Manning is the second best quarterback in the NFL. The Saints can’t top that. I’ve got Colts for the win.

As someone who knows almost nothing about football, I would have to say the Colts will win. As these “Saints” are surely very pious and kind people, used to turning the other cheek, I would have to say that they would be easily trampled and defeated. A group of dead martyred folk is no match for a large heard of snarling stampeding horses (even baby horses), who will surely overtake them easily.
