AFJROTC sponsors Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Fund Drive
The Reserved Officer Training Corps (ROTC) is sponsoring the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Fund Drive for Lafayette from Tuesday, Feb. 6 to Saturday, Feb. 24.
Primary collections will be through an online collector; however, cash, coins and checks will also be accepted. Checks will be payable to LLS or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Please forward the URL to friends and family to help ROTC reach their goal of $2,500.
This goal can easily be reached if each student in the school gives only $1.38. With help from family members, this goal can be exceeded.
Teachers will be able to send a request with their room number to Nathaniel Reed at [email protected] or Dave Cugier in the ROTC room to get a collection box.
“We’re trying to raise a much as possible for research towards new and better ways to fight Leukemia and Lymphoma,” Reed said. “We’ve participated for 15 years.”
Last year, according to the Spring 2017 Pamphlet from the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Lafayette was the top earner in the “Top 5 High Schools” list. ROTC is sure they can do it again with the help of Lafayette students, parents and teachers.

[Families] actually having the opportunity to have their kids on the field with us is the most important aspect,” Ben Lundt said.](https://lancerfeed.press/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/IMG_6823-1200x800.jpg)
