LHS Cheer to host annual “Cheer for Charity” tonight
Tonight, the LHS Cheer will be hosting the Cheer For Charity event.
In order to receive admission to the benefit, people can donate cleaning supplies or bring a monetary donation. In return, some of Rockwood’s cheerleading squads and dance teams, as well as local dance studios, perform.
Emily Toscano, member of the varsity cheerleading squad, is looking forward to performing with her team.
“We’ve practiced almost every day, and we have worked really hard on our routine,” she said.
This is Toscano’s 2nd year performing in the event.
“I just like that it helps people out, and we get to put on a show,” she said.
Those interested in attending the event should report to the LHS Gym at 6pm.
